For a team that only started their rebuild last season, the Rangers have a very good stable of young players and prospects. Far better than most teams (including the Flames) have when they decide to tear down the roster. Panarin's young enough that he can be part of rebuilt Rangers team in 2-4 years. I'm just surprised that the Sabres weren't on his list, as Buffalo is usually an attractive destination for Russians.
