I honestly don't see how a scattershot approach against 40 companies is likely to go anywhere. I'd guess that at some point, the BC government will be required to amend or split their complaint into something more manageable.

And NuclearFart - BC (like everyone else) is going after tobacco firms. There was a pretty big SCC decision last month that cleared one of the hurdles of their case.
