According to Jeff Passan the comp pick they would get for Donaldson is not very attractive

Clarification: Because the Blue Jays are revenue sharing payors, the pick they would get if they give Josh Donaldson a QO and he leaves would be in the 75-80 range regardless of what size deal he gets.

Still think Donaldson for one year at $18M is a deal most teams would take.
