He's definitely not wrong in what he said, but shouldn't have said it. If that was a fan comment it's entirely fair. I recall a game last year when the Flames were playing the Kings and Brouwer jumped in and got in a scrap to defend a teammate (I think it was Gio?) and took a penalty late in the game. In the game thread I gave Brouwer grief because I thought it was a bad time to have the team shorthanded. There were quite a few posters who disagreed with me and said it was the right play because Brouwer was sticking up for one of his teammates, even if it left them shorthanded.
So looking back at that game and then reading some of the comments in this thread is pretty interesting.
