Wait... the trip hasn't happened yet. How do we know he's going to go over there and campaign for votes here? I mean, fair enough, it's what everyone always does, but he hasn't done it yet. So far he's said he's going to India, and while still in Canada, made statements about the trip that are designed to help his domestic political goals. Maybe I'm being naive, but isn't it possible that when he actually goes to India he simply serves as a representative of Canada as one of its political leaders and doesn't bash Trudeau or the Liberals to representatives from other nations? It's at least conceptually possible, right?
