Fair points, I don't remember this being a discussion when the Liberals and NDP were visiting with American leadership over Keystone to try to kill it.
The bottom line is that I agree with you in terms of Scheer not meeting with govenrment leaders. However I have no problem with political leaders and opposition leaders going on a speaking circuit in other countries, or meeting with for example leaders of industry.
