The criticism you do hear is almost entirely effort related, or mental preparation, or a simple lack of skill in an area. It's pretty much a given all pro athletes are incredibly gifted. The knock comes when the effort, skill or outcome doesn't match the "gift:". That's a lot different than what we're hearing about someone's mismatched Frankenstein bones.
