Fully agree. I’m onboard as long as we are not splitting with other cities. The main reason why I want to host the Olympics is because we should be getting some provincial and federal cash for infrastructure projects. If we are not getting anything new (stadium, field house, arena) than I will vote no. I don’t want want to host if Edmonton is going to get their greasy hands on anything as well. It should be Calgary and Canmore period. I could live with Whistler having the ski jumping, but absolutely no one else.
