One summer back in the 90s a friend and I ran a bike tour business out of the youth hostel. We'd start at hostel, head up the Elbow, over the dam, had lunch at Weaselhead, around the reservoir, down through Mount Royal, and back to the hostel. Took about 5 hours. For the rest of the day they could use the bikes on their own - we gave them maps.
Every person who took the tour loved it.
