The best David Lee Roth Van Halen album IMO is their debut album but 5150 is the one I am most fond of as not many popular bands have managed to change their lead singer at the peak of their popularity and deliver one of their best albums ever and I think the key was that the band didn't pretend that they could just make the same music with a different singer. They adapted and changed and the result was a brilliant album.

Van Halen 2 is probably my fave, only because their debut has been played to death. It's another almost perfect album as it has the crappy "Dance the Night Away" as the second track. I don't mind the Hagar stuff, but it has too much keyboard (Eddie, you're the best in the world, we don't want to hear you play keyboard).
