When you say whitewashing you’re asserting that they are trying to present a less honest version of history which I think is literally the opposite of what is happening. Also what is the ‘campaign’ you are referring to? Have you read the 94 recommendations of the Truth and Reconciliation commission? Do you agree with the recommendations or even the purpose of the commission? Maybe we’ll have to agree to disagree but I really don’t think this is regressive leftist outrage causing this. This doesn’t sound like outrage to me and if you have ever met any indigenous leaders and elders, most of them are very gracious people and anything but angry and bitter about their situation or what happened to their culture.
