Were I the Ottawa GM I would be extremely worried about carrying a nearly useless player with a $7.0 m cap-hit for
FIVE YEARS. The plan heading into a rebuild has to be emerging from it before Lucic's deal expires, and that essentially handcuffs the team on the other end.
