We got young guys in Bennet, Jankowski and Czarnik that could grow and provide more to offset the potential decline of Backs/Neal.
We also have 3 high end defensive prospects that should be ready to contribute regularly before the contracts of Stone, Brodie and Hamonic are needing renewal - not to mention a 21 year old high end defenseman we will sign in short order.
We have at least one forward spot up for grabs come training camp and I can only imagine how excited Mangiapane, Foo and Dube are and how prepared and ready to compete they will be next month.
I don't get why you are so doom and gloom. Outside of goaltending we are pretty well setup throughout the organization.
Sure we could use some other top flight forward prospects and a sure thing in net, on the way, but I'm pretty stoked about the future.

I did not mean to come across as doom and gloom. This is Treliving's team and he deserves credit for whatever success they might enjoy. My point, which was poorly made, was that I wouldn't expect a lot of changes to what we see now under his watch. Goaltending might be an exception but that will be tricky to make a big change IMO.
