But it looks like the Hanifin contract just won't make that possible. Still, it's concerning that we'll have a cap handicap for the next 4 years.

It's just an extra season of $1.5 million buying him out now. Really not a big deal at all.
The Flames now don't have any terrible contracts. If Frolik doesn't rebound from the past season, his contract could be considered bad. I know some posters don't like Stone but $3 million is fair for him.
