I think the question you have to ask is, is Brouwer one of the 13 best Flames forwards? If he isn't, then you have to move on from him IMO.

That being said, I think the Flames will keep him. As a whole, I think the Flames organization likes Brouwer. He wears a letter and they did pay him like twice what he was worth in free agency.
