Buyout Brouwer
Only one extra year on the cap if you don't buy him out this year but buy him out next year and with the cap continuing to go up, hopefully $1.5 million is nothing in that 4th year.
Gives Tre some more cap space for this season which is handy if the Flames wanted to make an acquisition at the trade deadline etc. or if we incur injuries and need to bring in a new body. Plus more space on the roster for someone who I think will be better than Brouwer whether that be Lazar, Czarnik, Dube, Mangipane etc. all better options in my opinion.
Time to cut ties and move on.
