I dunno, Cap. I think his deal with the Rangers to acquire both Stepan and Raanta in one feel swoop was very shrewd, giving the Coyotes a true 1C and a great goalie for a bunch of unknowns. His swap of Domi and Galchenyuk was a clear upgrade. His swap of Duclair and Panik was a clear upgrade, and he even got a prospect back in that deal too. That defense is also vastly upgraded. Nik Hjalmarsson on the second pairing? He somehow managed to snag Demers for Jamie McGinn. There's so much to like there.
