Chayka seems like a guy that is a nervous talker. Young guy that doesn't feel like he's part of the club maybe, but he has that problem where he says a lot without saying anything (like the flesching call) then follows up with nervous laughs. That's a guy that is bright but could benefit from a senior president of hockey ops as sounding board.
His call to "botts" about Flesching. That was the trade involving Brandon Hickey to buffalo...and he says a couple players were "boxed out". Is he trying to say he didn't have room for Hickey on the roster? Pretty sure Hickey wasn't going to sign there.
