Leafs will have approximately 40M to sign Matthews, Marner, Nylander, Kapanen, a second pairing, a couple depth skaters and a backup goalie- once they place Horton on IR.
Hardly that pressing.
What they need is quality defense, and that's likely not going to happen without moving Nylander.
