Yeah, but there are 30 teams in the league and probably 20+ of them didn't care about the last 2-3 games of the season overly much.
And it's not like there were a dozen 3rd-4th liners scoring hat tricks in the last two games of the season.
You can bet all the bubble guys like Hathaway in the NHL were trying to leave a good impression, but they didn't score hat tricks and Jankowski did.
