I don't watch many Wild games but doesn't Dumba play with an edge too? So he isn't just an offensive guy.

Hamilton did it as a 21 year old - way more reason to believe he was an elite (or relatively elite) offensive player.
And yet even so, 3 years later the progression hasn't been what was expected and the Flames moved on from him. So I don't really see that as a very supportive example for this contract.
