One of the things I'm seeing is that some folks are looking at "Why would you want the hassle of seperate accounts?"
Well...my wife and I enjoy talking about finances, where we are, where we'd like to be and planning to get there. We usually make a breakfast or lunch date of it, and find that it really helps us keep our eyes on the prize, while keeping us on the same page as to what that is (renos, vacation, etc)
Though if a couple didn't like/want to talk about finances, I could see where that would be "a hassle".
