I believe a new owner would come in and the City would continue to take exactly the same stance it always has.
There is zero, nil, zip chance that a $450-million arena built with private money will ever pay its way in a city the size of Calgary. No prospective owner is going to buy in without an arena deal being worked out beforehand.
