My gut and the statistics tell me Puljujarvi is currently the better player and I also think he has higher upside. Therefore, I think I’d do this trade for sure. However, despite the fact that Puljujarvi has better stats despite playing more difficult opposition and starting in the defensive zone more often, the one thing you can’t discount is Puljujarvi had better linemates. So this probably skews the stats in Puljujarvi’s favour a bit.
