You just got upset at a statement and changed it around saying the exact same thing.
This is sports entertainment. Of course the team that just signed him is going to pump his tires in the *press*. And this is a fan forum. I see little point in feeling the need to temper optimism especially when it's just with semantics.
I think it goes without saying he's going to need to earn whatever role he gets.
