In this years nba playoffs i saw lebron james fall when a 6 foot 2 inch guard ran into him and an offensive foul was called, it sure looked like a dive to me. In fact he then then ran around chasing the ref just like the argentinian player did the other day. Is that embarrassing for lebron? I don't think so, he would say its part of the game.
It happens more in soccer because its a much more physical game then basketball and the ref could be 30 yards down the field so he can't see the foul.
