Its crazy how non-secular the Western world is becoming. I was watching Ghostbusters a couple weeks ago, which came out in what, 1982, 83? So only a little over 20 years ago. Remember the one scene in the mayor's office, when the Ghostbusters are pleading to allow the mayor to give them their proton packs and stuff back?

Then the arch-bishop comes into the office. The mayor runs over, and is like "Oh, your holiness" and kisses his hand. He wanted the arch-bishop's say on the matter. And later in the scene, when the mayor is finally about to grant them their stuff back, he looks at the arch bishop, who smiles and nods his head. Then the mayor tells them they can have it back.

No way in hell would a general pop culture movie like that include Catholic stuff like that anymore, where an arch bishop has a major say in a mayor's decisions. I just found it interesting how different we were only 20 years ago in terms of religion.
