Oilers failed there. But they didn't even listen to their scouts that draft. Their scouts wanted Ryan Murray. Owner overruled them.
Katz is a clown and runs the Oilers like a clown show. They get what they deserve.

Yeah yeah there are always gems later in the draft. Yakupov was the consensus Number 1 pick. Period.
Has anyone gone off the board with the 1st pick before? Outside the top 10? No.
