A bit of an appeal to authority argument. We'll just have to agree to disagree. Stone's offensive best asset as a Dman is his shot, and Franson's shot is arguably just as good along with being a better passer. Defensively Stone is a possession black hole and has worse career goal differentials. Sometimes guys fail to find the right situation for themselves... if Stone doesn't get to play with Brodie two seasons ago he might be playing in Europe right now. If Franson a few seasons ago doesn't get traded to a team that tried playing him on the left side he might be on a big long term deal.
