In two days Iginla will be
41-years-old, and has had a surgical procedure since his last NHL game, which was well over a year ago. He is too slow to play—the same issues that Jagr suffered last year are those that will affect Iginla.
And no, I don't think Lindolm and Hanifin will "magically make the powerplay click." But I do think an entirely new coaching strategy will make an enormous difference.
