If he runs the bench like he did in Calgary last season, if you aren't in the top two lines you aren't going to put up good point totals.
If Peters runs the bench as he did in Carolina, Ryan may be able to replicate his offensive totals, and perhaps a guy like Brouwer will have bounce back numbers.
Of course as always in the cap world, cap hit will be the biggest factor in the quality of this move.
Seems to me like the Flames aren't signing Ryan for the fourth line. He will be playing third line I would bet. Which bumps Jankowski to the 4th or the wing.
