2013 wasn't a whole lot better, outside of Monahan of course.
1-6 C Sean Monahan
1-22 LW Emile Poirier
1-28 LW Morgan Klimchuk
3-67 D Keegan Kanzig
5-135 D Eric Roy
6-157 RW Tim Harrison
7-187 D Rushan Rafikov
7-198 D John Gilmour
Only Monahan and Klimchuk left now. They only got 8 games out of Poirier, none of the others. Roy, Harrison and Gilmour were never signed, Kanzig couldn't stick in the AHL. I guess they technically still have Rafikovs rights, but that ship surely has sailed. Gilmour played 28 NHL games with the Rangers last season though, good for him.
For a hugely important draft with three 1sts, that's kind of weak. Interestingly the other team with three 1sts that year, Columbus, didn't strike gold either. They only have Wennberg left, both Rychel and Dano were traded and haven't done a whole lot at the NHL level.
