The playoffs seem to always show it, one line teams get exposed and are eliminated quickly and the teams with the most depth seem to always go on long runs. I'd keep Tkachuk on Backlund's line just so we don't rely on 1 line to try to win us every game like this past season.

Agree. I feel like most of us believe Tkachuk can drive a line by himself, so keeping that in mind I think the most logical solution would be to keep backs and fro together as a "third" line/ shutdown line with someone like janko probably becasue we know that backlund produces regardless of situation and linemates. Then let Tkachuk, Bennett, and Lindholm create the "second" line that takes the easiest assignments and is counted on to produce.
Then for the same reason as moving backlund down you can fill in almost anyone on the top line and they will contribute. Even if it is Foo or Mangiapane or someone like Perron. If thats done then we should have three lines that are producing consistently plus withshore anchoring the fourth finally playing with some speed and skill (probably Lazar and Mangiapane) that line should produce too.
I think Shore will surprise a lot of fans with how much he creates, regardless of if it turns into points or not.
