I'm not sold on the idea of playing Tkachuk on the 1st line. If we do that, we'll be even more of a 1 line team than we already are. This team needs to find depth and balance fast if we ever want to be an elite team.

The playoffs seem to always show it, one line teams get exposed and are eliminated quickly and the teams with the most depth seem to always go on long runs. I'd keep Tkachuk on Backlund's line just so we don't rely on 1 line to try to win us every game like this past season.
