Elias Lindholm is a large upgrade offensively, and there simply is no argument otherwise.

Flames lose some size for sure, but that is all they lose when comparing the two.
Not to mention, Lindholm is a top 6 right hand shot (which we lack), and can play center which is a more important position. Even if he plays mostly wing for us, he still provides that depth and ability for when injuries hit. That's huge.
