But the fact is that there really is no debate between Ferland and Lindholm, and Hanifan is younger and has a lot of things going for him.


I really liked Hamilton, but at the end of the day, this trade brings two core players to the Flames for the price of one core player, a accessory forward and a prospect that was probably never going to wear Flames Silks. At the same time the Flames get younger, and get a longer lifespan with their group of core players.


This might not be a raping of Carolina, but I don't see it as a loss by Treliving. But I can't judge it until we see this team on the ice.


If this is about Culture shock as well, then it could be a good thing.
