Wow, Ferland, Fox and Hamilton are suddenly not great yet Lindholm and Hanafin are these wonder kids?

This is simply a bad trade. So disappointed in Treliving.

I keep seeing Lindholm advertised as this great two way player. Really? He's a career -70 in 374 games. Ferland is -10 in 250 career games. Not to mention the fact that Lindholm is wanting 5M+?! a year? Also losing A LOT of grit and physical presence here. Ferland was 36th in the NHL with 171 hits last season. Ranked 22nd among forwards. Ranked 7th among RWers. Not to mention how tough he is. Remember the playoffs? Yeah, thats where we want to be. Ferlands value sky rockets if you get into the post season. Ugh.

People screaming that Dougie can't play defense, how about Hanifin? Guy seems brutal in his own zone despite being TOTALLY sheltered. Started 63.1% offensive zone starts and put up 32 points and a -20 on the season. I mean I get hes young, but it wasnt like Hamilton is some old declining guy.

Then the matter of Fox. Now everyone is acting like he was going to be a flight risk for sure? So why didn't you trade him for something better rather than throwing him into this trade? He was a valuable chip if he really wouldn't sign.

Now I'm not going to give up on this team and ill give the new guys a chance but it would be nice to actually win a trade when we are giving up such value.

We really better hope Peters can make a huge difference to this team because this trade obviously has a lot to do with him.
