Adam Fox is on track to be a great NHL player. Flames have done a lot of work in trying to gauge his desire to be a Flame down the road. Clearly they got the indication Fox wasn't crazy about coming to Calgary.

Adam Fox will go back to Harvard this season for his junior year but this trade from CGY to CAR enhances the likelihood of him turning pro after this coming season.

Sorry, but this isn't confirmation from McKenzie that Fox doesn't sign. Pure speculation. Doesn't mean their isn't any smoke there but Flames have a whole year to turn Fox into a better asset than being just a throw in.
