Default Habs fall short on 3 way negotiations

There was a draft party that went into the wee hours of the Newfoundland morning.

It was the CPHL Habs who were left on the outside looking in.

Both teams as well as 3 other teams were hot in pursuit of goalie Ilya Samsonov.

The one stipulation from the Pens was they needed to package up Anderson with Samsonov to make room for star defence man’s brother Malcolm Subban.

The Leafs stepped up first and a deal was made leaving the Habs GM crying in his beer.

The deal breaks down as follows:

To Pens
Marchenko
Fehervary
1st 2019
Hutton

To Leafs
Anderson
Samsonov
2019 3rd
