He has 3 years left on his contract, it's not like he's locked up permanently. If he will leave at the end of it, his value starts to sink next summer. Like everyone else I expect they get a staggering return though or they don't do it. Lindholm and Hanifin alone doesn't do it for me. Lindholm has been around enough that he looks like a Frolik level player at best. Hanifin seems like second pairing. Even if the Flames need to expand the deal I'd like to see a third piece if the first two are mid level young players.
