I like him as a broadcaster, I've met him several times in person to the point where he made stalker jokes because I ran into him at an airport bar by sheer chance, and so I generally like him as a person. Hes definitely an interesting guy to have a beer with.
Hes done some things online that were not flattering, those are public and can be judged accordingly.
I do not agree with his politics but Airdrie is probably a Trump stronghold anyways and he ran there and the people did not see his politics as representative of them and didnt vote for him. Fair enough. Thats the process.
And I dont hold 'The Incident' against him.
