Skills are there. Positioning is very key in those highlights. It's a really important thing for me. He finds ways like Tkachuk to get where the puck is going to be. He reads developing plays very well. It's the primary reason I want him on the Flames so badly.
Look at the first goal on that video. It's not so much about positioning as it is about how he settled that puck down and potted it in the net. He has the skills. It doesn't blind you or dazzle like Johnny but it is there.
He may not amount to much more than a 50-60 point guy once it's all said and done but he'll be a key piece in a deep run.
