What I love about Lindholm is what a lot of people love about Tkachuk. He a really good player below the goal line and around the net. Chucky lite.
Just a glimpse of what he was doing in Carolina.

Those highlights don’t stand out to me. I like that he’s in the right place at right time but I’m not seeing the skills - the hands, the passing, the shiftiness. Granted it was one video and I hope there are more that show his skills.
However when I read this from his draft year, I’m intrigued but wondering why he doesn’t show these qualities - unless he doesn’t have them at NHL level.

Lindholm is an offensive playmaker with outstanding vision and hand skills. He can dazzle with his stickhandling and impress with his ability to find the open man. He can take over games with the puck on his stick and is a difference-maker every shift. He has a strong skating stride and can be slippery in the offensive zone. Lindholm is versatile as a centre and winger, and will play with his heart on his sleeve. He’s very competitive and will do whatever it takes to help his team win.
