I'm looking hard into going in August for about 9 days. Flight and hotel should be about $1500 cdn + $130 for the visa. Having said that, I'm sure some here have gone.

What was the vibe like and was it safe (assuming you have your wits about you)?
What were some of the things you did while there?

General recommendations welcome.
