Young players almost always continue to improve in their early to mid 20’s. It’s very reasonable to expect Lindholm to continue to progress and get better. Just like we should expect guys like Bennett, Lazar, Tkachuk, Monahan, Hanifin, Domi, etc to continue to improve.

The amount of posters on here that think an almost 22 year old Sam Bennett isn’t likely to improve or that a 23 year old Lindholm is as good as he’ll get is baffling to me. Hanifin still has loads of room to grow as well and is nowhere near fully developed.

It’s normal and expected for players to continue to improve and grow in their early 20’s. People want Lindholm because he’s young, skilled, can skate and is a right shot. Hanifin, Bennett, Lindholm all have higher upside than what they’ve achieved so far.

We expect players like Andersson and Jankowski to improve, why would we think differently of kids like Bennett or Lindholm just because they made the NHL earlier? Just because you make the NHL earlier does not mean you stop improving in your early 20’s.
