Our company is keeping the same drug screening regime it had before. Nothing is changing. If your job requires you to go to a safety-critical location, like a drilling rig, you can be tested at any time for marijuana.
It's dumb. But testing to see if you've smoked pot in the last 14 days, while you can walk onto a lease 36 hours after going on an epic drinking binge, has always been dumb.
Hopefully with more states legalizing, we'll see a real push for a credible marijuana saliva test.
