Yeah it doesn’t make sense for where the team is at. If Brady Smith was a top
5 pick projected to be a mean power forward then he would be an intriguing piece if that is what the Flames wanted.
At this stage they need a top line right wing or another scoring center. Moving Hamilton for a prospect eliminates the best asset to acquire that piece.
