Bennett is 21 guys, about to turn 22. Many players don't even make the NHL before that age. To think he doesn't have room for massive improvement still would be crazy. He's basically still at the dawn of his NHL career. As is Domi. Both players will still probably turn out just fine. I'm not just a Flames homer in this arena, I think its dangerous to write off super skilled young players like Bennett, Domi or even Puljujarvi up north.

Domi and Bennett aren't really comparable though in terms of production. Domi was on pace for 50pts his first two seasons and even this past season where he played pretty badly still managed 45pts. If his floor is a 50ish point player, so be it, that's a pretty high floor.
Bennett put up 26pts each of his last 2 seasons. If he somehow managed to match Domi's floor in the next few seasons, I would count that as a huge victory for the flames.
