By October, nobody is talking about this, until a mini media frenzy at the first meeting of Hoffman and Karlsson's new teams (Karlsson will be traded too), when both players say they just want to move on.

Yup. There is a well-established playbook on these kinds of things in the sporting world. Obviously this is a little different because it involves a player's spouse, but the game plan is still the same.

I'm 100% confident that Hoffman will be given another chance with a new team.
