I remember Ireland got screwed because they were in Italy's group and the geography was catered to them. If Ireland had gotten another group it might be been better. They really wanted the Irish in Boston but that ended up being Group D.

Italy's first 3 games were New York, Washington, New York
Ireland's were New York, Orlando, New York

That was dumb, why stick an Orlando game in that group. Then Ireland finished 2nd and had to go back to Orlando.

Italy finished 3rd in the group and just went to Boston. They really could have gone anywhere as a wildcard. They got lucky.
